The Bodyguard T240: An award winning product.

B odyguard introduced two new Chinese models at the low end of the line two years ago and the results were stunning…as in good. Bodyguard has only been manufacturing treadmills since 1995 but they have used the same quality construction that has been their trademark since 1969. Their parent company is Procycle, a large Canadian company.

Their design philosophy is to build a good treadmill and then price it according to the cost of the quality level. Many makers like to pinpoint the price point they want and then build the treadmill to the price point which causes most to cut corners in order to hit a sales price. This philosophy forces them to abandon low price points but ends up benefiting the consumer.

Bodyguard Treadmills come equipped with an electronic stride control that is controlled by the lower board. The stride control controls the motor speed so that it runs consistent with the speed selected. The Stride control will work regardless of body weight or the level of incline selected.

The Price on Bodyguard treadmills is above moderate to expensive, but you get what you pay for. These treadmills are priced from $1999 for the T240 to $6499 for the T700.
