The Horizon T303 treadmill is just a step up from your entry level treadmills. Of course, this model has more options than your average treadmill would have. The price is set just right on this machine and I have to say it’s a pretty good bargain. The T303 has all the essentials, from a large running deck to a GoalCenter™ workout tracker. If you really want to challenge yourself and step up your workout regime, this machine is for you.
The T303 has a solid folding frame that is really built to last. The size of this machine is perfect; It’s not too large or too small. It will fit most users comfortably. With that being said, the drive system on this treadmill is definitely not the most impressive we’ve seen. With only a 2.5 CHP motor, you may have to watch your usage on this machine. This machine will not bear heavy-duty or intense training. I’d also keep in mind the small user weight capacity of 350 lbs. If you want this machine to last, I wouldn’t over do it. That’s how you have to be with treadmills in this price range, though. This machine will accomplish your fitness goals and more, though, especially with its it GoalCenter™ and 12 workout programs.
Overall, the Horizon T303 has some appealing specs and features and the price is set just right. With that being said, it is just a step up from an entry level treadmill, meaning you still need to baby the machine. Horizon seems to build pretty solid and stable machines and you shouldn’t have to worry too much. I’d recommend this treadmill, or even the lower priced models. I would stay out of the higher priced Horizon treadmills, though, because they are significantly overpriced.
