The ProForm Power 1080 is a great treadmill. It is dynamically spin-balanced and goes through thorough testing to ensure great performance. It has all the goodies you have come to expect from ProForm: a 3.25 CHP motor, a 20" x 60" running belt, ProShox Elite 2 cushioning and automatic incline and speed controls.
It also has a space saving folding design and comes with iFit live built-in. This means you can do workouts powered by Google Maps and train with Jillian Michaels. This is another great treadmill in a long line of successful new models for ProForm. At a sale price of $1299.00 this is an incredible deal.
Some of the other more popular features of this treadmill include the 7" full color touch screen that integrates with Ifit Live, the 30 excellent built-in workouts, the comfortable proshox elite 2 cushioning, the set-a-goal workout center and more.
The set-a-goal workout center is a program that modifies the treadmill's speed. incline, and other modes to help you achieve a certain goal whether it be a max heart rate or a certain distance. The warranty shows Proform's confidence in the durability of this unit providing you with lifetime coverage on the frame and motor, 5 years on parts, and 2 years of labor.
The ProForm Power 1080 is the top model of the Power series and has a lot of features not included in the lower tier models. The next grade down from the Power 1080 is the ProForm Power 995. The Power 995 does not come with iFit Live built, does not have full-color touch screen, has fewer workout programs and applications, and has a smaller motor than the Power 1080. The only advantage the 995 has over the 1080 is that it is $300 dollars cheaper. However, the number of improvements in the Power 1080 is more than worth the extra $300.
The ProForm Power 1080 has a ton of potential and is one of the cheapest models to include iFit Live with its price. There are so many extras on this machine that it easily beats out the 995 and is definitely worth the extra cost. This treadmill is a great buy, but if you're still not convinced, browse through more of our treadmill reviews and find the best deal for you!
