Proform Pro 2000

The ProForm Pro 2000 is the cheapest model from the Pro series. The motor used in the Pro 2000 is a 3.25 CHP Mach Z™ Commercial Pro Motor and the deck is 20″ x 60″. The deck is also capable of inclining up to 15%, declining down to -3%, and is cushioned with FS2 (Full Surface Suspension Cushioning). This is a great model that is $200 cheaper than the Pro 2500. The only big downside to this model is the lack of iFit Live and touch display screen that is present in both the 2500 and 4500 models. The Pro 2000 does comes with 24 workout programs on its own and has the normal treadmill accessories such as Dual-Grip EKG™ Heart Rate Monitor with Polar® Wireless Chest Strap, music mp3/iPod port, workout fan, EasyLift™ Assist with Self-Locking Latch, and an Intermix Acoustics™ 3.0 Sound System.

The main differences between the Pro 2000 and its higher end models, the ProForm Pro 2500 and Pro 4500, are that it has a slightly weaker 3.25 CHP motor, has fewer workout programs, does not include iFit Live, and does not include a touch or full-color display screen. The Pro 2000 uses a 8″ Backlit Display which is a little disappointing compared to the other screens out there. The Pro series in itself is better than the Power series from ProForm, mostly because the Pro series has much more powerful motors and better treadmills specs. If you are looking for an alternative outside of the Pro series, the ProForm Performance 1450 has very similar specs, but comes outfitted with iFit Live and a full-color touch screen display.

The ProForm Pro 2000 is a great treadmill to buy if you are looking for a machine with great specs, but doesn’t charge for features like iFit Live or full-color touch screen displays. If you are looking for some good alternatives with the iFit Live feature you can look into the Performance 1450 for $100 more or the Pro 2500 for $200 more.
