Overview

The Proform Pro 4500 is the new big brother to the Pro 2500. Both having made their debut in 2011. Proform spared no expense in these treadmills. While the price is in a different class than most other proforms, the amazing strength, power, durability, features on this machine makes it a perfect treadmill those who want a top-of the line, no-nonsense, lifetime treadmill. 

Imagine a 3.8 CHP motor with all the power in the world, that operates quietly, and will never give you any problems. That's this motor right here. The weight capacity is an unbelievable 450 lbs. That should be well more than enough for most runners. Basically, this treadmill is one of the biggest and strongest you'll find of any home treadmill. All that with the 10" full color web browser touch screen display gives this a pow that sets it apart from the rest of the other models. 

Difference
The main difference between the ProForm Pro 2500 and the 4500 is in the motor and screen display. The 4500 comes with a slightly more powerful 3.8 CHP motor compared to the already reliable 3.5 CHP motor on the 2500. The screen on the 2500 can be a little hard to see while running as it is only 7 inches whereas the 4500's screen is 10 inches. The Pro 4500 also comes with 8 more workout programs than the Pro 2500.

Conclusion

This machine picks up any slack that the Pro 2500 left behind and fixes it. The 10" touch screen is much easier to see while you are running and the motor runs a bit smoother than the 2500. The price on this treadmill however is very steep for the improvements. If being able to use the iFit screen comfortably is important to you or if you weigh a little on the heavy side (300+ lbs) and want a reliable machine than the Pro 4500 is the treadmill for you.

The warranty on this machine should keep anyone from worrying too much. The reviews so far are great and the quality as good as it gets.
