Treadmill Name: |
Landice L8 Pro Sports Trainer |
 |
Editor’s Note: |
Basically the L7 model with the extended running length and width. If you really want to try out the 12 MPH capability of this machine, having an extra 9” helps. |

Review Comments: |
For those serious runners who need higher speeds and more room, the L8 is worth the extra, otherwise stick with the L7 series. |

The Landice L8 Pro Sport Trainer is a low-frill option to the more expensive Landice treadmills. With the 22 X 63 Running surface, and the Baldor Motor with 3 CHP, you will have a commercial piece of equipment in the privacy of your own home. The 1 inch MDF thick deck with an Aluminum frame has a lifetime warranty on all parts. The 3.5 inch, 22 pound Crowned steel rollers allow for a smooth and sturdy workout regardless of speed. The L8 PST also has the VFX vertical Flex System for maximum joint protection.
This Commercial grade treadmill offers all of the options you would expect in this price range. The L8 also has 5 user-defined programs, and 5 built in workout programs. With the standard wireless heart monitor and optional Accucheck contact heart monitor. The display on the L8 PST has the same 2 color Hi DEF display without the heart rate control programs and heart rate display.
Strengths:
Huge 500Lb weight limit! Great Warranty if preventive maintance is maintained. For $400 less (Compared to L8 CT), you can get a great treadmill with fewer programs, and a few less options.
Weaknesses:
Landice has a great warranty, but if you do nod take proper maintained care of your equipment, they will void the warranty fully.
Quite an expensive piece of equipment, defiantly not in every ones price range.
No fit tests or heart programs.
