If you need the extra room, the $800 could be worth it. |

22" x 63" extra long treadbelt. The length will accommodate tall users. It is also ideal for sprinting and interval training.
4-Ply treadbelt. You'll find most treadmills come with a 2-ply belt. They are more likely to wear out or stretch. The 4-Ply belt on the L8 Pro Sport Trainer offers twice the durability.
3 HP continuous duty Baldor motor. This is a monster of a motor, and Baldor has a reputation for building institutional quality products.
415 lb. treadmill weight. Not sure if there are any home treadmills that weight more. Regardless, this treadmill is solid as a rock. This treadmill also has a max user weight of 500LBS Amazing!!
The Landice L8 Sport Trainer is a No-frill option to the more expensive Landice treadmills. With the 22 X 63 Running surface, and the Baldor Motor with 3 CHP, you will have a commercial piece of equipment in the privacy of your own home. The 1 inch MDF thick deck with an Aluminum frame has a lifetime warranty on all parts. The 3.5 inch, 22 pound Crowned steel rollers allow for a smooth and sturdy workout regardless of speed. The L8 ST also has the VFX vertical Flex System for maximum joint protection.
This Commercial grade treadmill offers all of the options you would expect in this price range. The L8 also has no programs for those who prefer to set their own pace. The L8 ST does not come standard with any heart rate monitoring system, but can be upgraded with additional cost.
Strengths:
Huge 500Lb weight limit! Great Warranty if preventive maintance is maintained. Most inexpensive Landice made for in home use. You may customize this model for exactly what your needs are at an additional cost.
Weaknesses:
Landice has a great warranty, but if you do nod take proper maintained care of your equipment, they will void the warranty fully.
Quite an expensive piece of equipment, defiantly not in every ones price range.
No fit tests or heart programs. No heart monitoring system.
