You wake up in the morning and start your daily routine. Have some coffee, get dressed, and get ready for your morning jog. Then you open the front door and realize it’s raining cats and dogs outside.
So what do you do now? What if you don’t have exercise equipment? You don’t want to skip your workout because you’ve been working so hard to make it a habit. Here are 3 easy workouts you can do:
3. Stretching. It doesn’t seem like very much exercise, but you’d be surprised! Not only does it give you great energy and burn calories, but you also feel great and ready for the day. You can also do yoga, it will give you the same results.
2. Aerobics. This can be any sort of aerobic exercise in your home that gets your heart rate up. Arm circles, jumping jacks, crunches, any of those exercises will work.
1. Dancing. Any sort of dancing is extremely good for you. Zumba is the most popular type of dancing for exercise; you actually burn 800 calories an hour! There are many online videos you can use to teach you how to dance.
These are all great exercises you can do indoors that still burn tons of calories. Even though you’ve been rained out of your daily workout routine, you don’t have to be rained out of your health and fitness!
There are actually people out there who love running in the rain. It helps them stay cool and it feels a lot nicer outside than when it’s sunny outside. You have to be very careful if you do this though. If you start feeling too cold, then you should probably start heading home so you don’t catch a cold.
