I had the opportunity to review AFG’s 7.1AT treadmill. The first thing I noticed is that it has some pretty good specs to it and it also offers the new Passport program. Passport is nearly identical to iFit Live. It allows the runner to virtually run anywhere in the world with the treadmill tracking the stats, pictures, and even incline level. The AFG’s 7.1AT uses a 3.25 CHP motor and the deck can incline up to 15%. At this hight you can get your workout in half the time and work more muscle at one time. One of the other features I like is the large console with cupholders and the raised edging along the deck. This provides a safe position to stand when starting the treadmill. This machine has a solid feel with an all steel non-folding frame. Also I like how smooth and quiet it is. This unit also has an iPod or any music device hook up for your convenience in listening to your favorite tunes. Last but not least is something called Nike iPod workout tracking where the unit will track and upload your workout data straight to your iPod.
