HealthRider H79T

The H79T is a great priced treadmill with a 20″ x 56″ running belt and a 2.50 HP motor. The machine has a max speed of 12 mph, a weight capacity of 325 lbs, and can incline up to 12%. Keep in mind that the H79T is a non-folding treadmill, which can make for a more durable piece of equipment. It also uses a Flexstride adjustable cushioning, which can be a great feature for families who have varied weights.
The H79t comes with an iPod port, but some other normal treadmill features are missing from this model. One important feature missing from this model are the heart rate grip monitors. Its nice to know just exactly how much you are pushing yourself by using heart rate monitors, but for some reason the H79t does not come with anything like this. The model is also missing a workout fan, which isn’t as important, but is usually included in current treadmills anyways.
Where as the H79T is outdated and not such a great buy, the HealthRider H95T is a little better. The H95T improves upon the motor power, the tread belt length, the display screen, and includes a heart rate monitor. Although the H95T is an improved version it still lacks some features as well. For some reason this model does not include an iPod port or a workout fan. It’s strange because even the H79T has an iPod port.
Conclusion
HealthRider treadmills are ok, but you can get better features and specs for the same price with a NordicTrack or ProForm model. They do offer free shipping which is a bonus, but at the same time a lot of the treadmill manufacturers with online shopping will give out free shipping.
