The NordicTrack C 630 is about as cheap as they come. You won’t find many treadmills in this price range. The price tag is extremely appealing, however, you should really take some things into consideration with this type of treadmill. It is an entry level treadmill and it is cheap for a reason. You won’t find outstanding specs or features on this machine. This doesn’t mean you won’t achieve a great workout, though, because you can. It just depends on what you are looking for in a treadmill.
Because of the weak motor and light user weight capacity, this machine clearly illustrates that it is not built for everyone. If you are taller or larger in size, you might feel extremely uncomfortable on this machine, and to make matters worse, it might break down on you faster. Considering that NordicTrack does not have the greatest warranty on this machine, it might be beneficial to weigh out your options and make sure this machine will work for you. If you are a smaller or shorter person, this machine might fit you perfectly. Another reason I would recommend this machine is if you live in a smaller home or condo, because it is a smaller treadmill and it also has the SpaceSaver Design, which allows you to fold up the treadmill and store it easily.
As I mentioned above, this treadmill has a smaller motor (only 2.6 CHP), and a light user weight capacity of 300 lbs. Considering the weak specs, this treadmill does have some features worth mentioning. There is a 10% incline adjustment option, a workout fan that automatically adjusts its speed to match your workout, and an adjustable treadmill cushioning system. Not too bad for an entry level treadmill, eh?
Conclusion
Overall, the C 630 will fit most user’s workout needs. This machine may feel a bit uncomfortable for taller or larger users, so I recommend it to smaller and shorter individuals. I would not recommend this treadmill to anyone who wanted to do some heavy-duty training, it is not built for that. The small price tag is on there for a reason. Also, if you are really into features and cool add-ins, I would recommend looking at a higher end treadmill, because this treadmill does not have many extras. This model is perfect for anyone looking to workout 3-4 times a week with a light to moderate jog.
