St Fitness 8911
Reviewed by TreadmillReviews.com
The ST Fitness 8911 is a non-folding version of the ST line. The Price is still very steep and the power and functionality and quality are just not keeping up with other brands at similar prices. It can hold up to some heavy use however. The motor used has 3.0 chp, but for what you’re paying you can expect a lot more. The tread belt is a standard length of 20″ x 60″ and the suspension used is very minimal in its function. Most other larger treadmill brands offer wider tread belts, more powerful motors, and more comfortable cushion/suspensions for their decks.
The 8911 does look sleek and cool, but it just does not have competitive enough specs to make it a better buy. The incline can go up to 12%, the max speed is 10 mph, and the weight capacity is 350 lbs. As far as the console goes, it seems a bit outdated and bare. The 8911 console has a LED readout of all the user’s stats like speed, incline, time, calories, distance, and heart rate. There are 6 workout programs that you can use, but really there is no interactivity or extras. We recommend skipping over this model in favor for a NordicTrack or ProForm.
