The HealthRider H30T treadmill suffers from being overpriced for the quality it offers. Here at Treadmill Reviews, we have been able to review many treadmills in the price range of the H30T. Thanks to our extensive experience and research, we can easily say that this treadmill does not come close to matching the specs of the best treadmills for under $1,500, let alone the best treadmills under $2,000.
Even if the H30T goes on sale for a greatly reduced price, there are better budget treadmills out there which are worth buying before you bother with the H30T.
Price
The price of the H30T is $1,899.
The H30T Is Built For Users who:
Want some incline for workouts - With an incline range of 0-10%, the H30T can provide users with a certain amount of challenging incline for workouts.
Plan on walking only - As the H30T only has a 2.0 CHP motor, it is not really up to a more demanding workout.
Need a small treadmill - The H30T is a small treadmill which will not take up much space in your home.
Why The H30T earned 1.9 stars
While the H30T is not necessarily a bad treadmill, it is greatly overpriced for the features it offers and is clearly shown when we compared the H30T to other treadmills in its price range.
Small motor strength - With a 2.0 CHP motor, the H30T is very underpowered compared to competitor treadmills in its price range.
Highly limited warranty - There is only a 90-day warranty on the parts and labor with a 5-year on the frame and motor. This does not make us believe that the H30T was meant to last very long, which it should for its asking price.
Low weight capacity - The H30T can only hold a user weighing up to 250 lbs and even that is suspect as this treadmill is a bit flimsy.
When reviewing all the features of the H30T, it consistently fell short of what it should be meeting when compared to other treadmills in its price range.

Motor Size - The motor in this treadmill is a small 2.0 CHP motor. While it does run quietly, it is not up to vigorous running or even more mild jogging.
Running Area - The running treadmill belt is thin and measures 16” wide and only 50” long. It can make this treadmill unsuitable for users who are over 6’2” tall as they may out-stride the treadmill when it is inclined.
Weight Capacity - A user weighing up to 250 lbs can technically use this treadmill. However, it is not made of very durable materials, so it may not be up to this weight.
Folding - The H30T can fold up easily as the deck is light. You will need to operate the spring-loaded pin on the side of the H30T to secure the deck into the upright position.
Space / Footprint - Slim dimensions make up the H30T, as it measures 29” wide, 65” long, and 55″ tall when unfolded and in use. When in the folded position, the H30T measures 29” wide, 29″ long, 59.5” tall.
Max Speed - The treadmill’s max speed is 10 MPH, which is under the standard 12 MPH we expect from this price range.
Incline - This treadmill has an incline range of 0-10%. It would be better if matched other competitor treadmills and had a range of 0-15%.

H30T Review: Build Quality
Warranties - 5-year motor and frame, 90-day labor and parts
Belt - 1-ply
Cushioning - ProDeck
Customer Support - Phone, email
Return Policy - 30-day
The ProDeck cushioning is underwhelming. One of our testers has sensitive feet post-injury and found the H30T uncomfortable unless in the most supportive running shoes. At a walking pace, you may not experience as many difficulties if you are wearing good, supportive shoes.
You have 30 days to try out the H30T before you cannot return it for a full refund. If you do return it during this window, you will need to pay a 10% restocking fee out of your refund. Defect or damage exempt you from the restocking assessment.
Build quality-wise, the H30T is similar to the ProForm Performance 400i, with thin metal parts and a lot of plastic sections. The trick is that the Performance 400i is far less expensive than the H30T.
Bottom Line Review Of The HealthRider H30T Treadmill
If you are willing to spend around $1,800 on a treadmill, you should not be choosing the H30T. It is an underpowered and poorly warrantied machine which is likely to break down within a couple of years of regular use.
When you buy a HealthRider treadmill, you should work with HealthRider.com. There are many older and/or refurbished H30T online, so by working with HealthRider, you can ensure you receive a new H30T of the model you want.
