Treadmill Review

While quite a few HealthRider treadmills are overpriced for their features, the HealthRider H55T treadmill is a fairly decent budget treadmill. For its price range, the H55T has an averagely sized motor, treadmill belt, and incline range. While it falls short of our best budget treadmills, the H55T is still a decent budget treadmill option.

Price

At the full retail price, the H55T costs $1,199. However, it is currently on sale for $699.

The H55T Is Built For Users who:

  • Need a walking treadmill - This treadmill is best suited to walkers and can handle some occasional jogging.
  • Prefer low-tech - There aren’t many extras that come with the H55T, which can be an asset for those who would rather have an easy-to-use treadmill.
  • Are not ready to invest - Treadmills can be an investment in your future health and fitness. Budget treadmills like the H55T are an opening investment but may not last all that long before needing to be replaced.

Why The H55T earned 2.4 stars

Budget treadmills have a hard time competing with better treadmills, and the H55T is no exception. When Treadmill Reviews tested, researched, and compared the H55T to other treadmills in its price range, it did fairly well.

  • Average amount of engagement - For a budget treadmill, the H55T has the average amount of workout programs, speed levels, and the incline range other budget treadmills have available.
  • Low on tech - Aside from the ability to make the H55T compatible with iFit, there is very little tech on the H55T. It lacks fans, USB ports, no tablet holder, and no ability to sync a wireless chest strap.
  • Below-average build - The majority of the H55T is made of thick molded plastic. This makes the H55T less sturdy than other treadmills.
