Like you would expect from SOLE treadmills, the TD80 is a sturdy machine. The base is similar to the SOLE F80, which is one of our favorite treadmills at its price point. Matching the sturdy quality of the base of the TD80, the frame supporting the desk and the desk area is also of good build quality. It can take some pressure from you leaning on it, but it is best if you don’t rest too heavily on the desk so that you don’t stress the screws anchoring the desktop. As the TD80 can only reach a top speed of 4 MPH, the SOLE Cushion Flex Whisper Deck cushioning technology is plenty to keep the deck comfortable. We do recommend you wear good walking or running shoes to provide your feet with extra cushioning.
