A new fad in the treadmill industry is the treadmill desk, and when it comes to treadmill desks, no one does it better than Lifespan. The TR1200 DT is their desk model and it's everything you want in a treadmill desk. The desk height is adjustable so that it can be used by anyone. It is pretty quiet so it is not distracting. This is largely due to the fact that you probably never have it going faster than 2 mph, but quiet is quiet.

It comes with a couple good features as well. One is that it will automatically stop when you step off. At the office you will probably be coming and going a lot, so it's nice that you don't have to worry about stopping the machine everytime you do. It also has a pedometer feature that will count your steps for you. Some employer wellness programs actually require you to count steps, so this is a great feature for a treadmill desk to have.

Another big thing in the fitness industry in general is tracking your progress. There are all kinds of products out there to help you keep track of everything imaginable when it comes to your workouts. When you buy the LifeSpan TR1200 DT you get a free four month trial to LifeSpan's version of this software called LifeSpan Fitness Club which is very nice.

There's one thing you need to watch out for, and that is the warranty. The warranty itself is just fine, pretty standard. However, you void the warranty if you use the treadmill for more than 6 hours per day. So just know, if you exceed the maximum of 6 hours per day on your treadmill desk, you may not have full warranty coverage. Not that you'll even need it; all you're doing is walking at 2 mph or less. This treadmill won't exactly take a beating unless you are talented enough to be able to jog and type at the same time.

We always talk about the treadmill specs here but for this treadmill desk it's important to talk about the specs of the desk as well. It is actually very sturdy, much better than you would expect. It can reach heights to accommodate someone up to 6'8" so just about anyone can use it. There is also a tray for cables underneath to keep things neat and tidy which is a nice touch.

Basically if you are looking for a treadmill desk, this is what you want to buy. You will find cheaper ones out there, but you get what you pay for. If you want a treadmill desk that is going to last, be fun to use and not give you any trouble, go get the LifeSpan TR1200 DT right now.
