The main features of the Sole F65 are a Cushion Flex Whisper Deck (lifetime warranty), Folding Design with Easy Assist, Double-Horseshoe folding frame, scrolling message display, Programmable Heart Rate Controlled Workout, High Torque 2.75 hp Motor, 15% incline, 350 lbs capacity, 6 programs, blue LCD display. All these specifications spell out a great treadmill, and make this treadmill very enticing for its price range. The Cushion Flex and whisper deck make for the quietest yet stable workout experience. The deck absorption is fair, but could use a little more cushion.
The Sole F65 is the 2nd cheapest model out of the 8 that Sole has got lined up for 2011. Some its weaknesses are its fairly small 2.75 CHP motor, that can go up to 11MPH. It only has 6 built in workouts, and it doesn’t have iFit or any tracking programs. It strengths are its strong 350 lb weight capacity, it’s full size 20″ x 58″ tread belt, and it’s excellent warranty giving one year coverage on in-home labor, and 3 years on parts.
The Sole F65 is the upgraded version of the Sole F63. The price difference is that the F65 is $200 dollars more than the F63. The price difference is very fair since you do get a slightly better motor and a lot more space to run on. These models are from the cheapest series from Sole and do not have as great of specs as the other series like the F80 or S73.
The F65 is a great quality cheaper end treadmill. If you do plan to have a more rigorous and intense workout, look into getting something a bit more powerful and durable like the F80 or S73. A good tip on buying a treadmill based on motor power is that a 2.0 CHP motor is good for walking, a 2.5 CHP is good for jogging, and a 3.0 CHP is good for running. The F65 is a pretty good treadmill for running, but any running that gets too intense could be a problem.
