Are committed - There is no trial period with the T-30, so buyers have to commit to the purchase of the T-30 as there is no return policy.

If this treadmill was priced more affordably, our testers and researchers at Treadmill Reviews would have been able to score it more generously. But the T-30 is priced beyond its features.
Few workout features - There are no speakers, fans, heart rate chest strap, and very few exercise programs on the T-30. This is far more restrictive than we normally expect from a treadmill of this price.
Underpowered motor - For a higher-end treadmill, it is surprising that the T-30 only has a 3.0 HP motor.
Decent warranty length - While the length of the T-30 warranty is decent, we are concerned that it will not be enough, especially as there is no return policy.

Motor Size - The motor in this treadmill is 3 HP. A horsepower measurement only shows the top power the motor can put out, not the continuous power, which is why HP measurements are considered less powerful than CHP measurements.
Running Area - With the length of the treadmill belt measuring 56”, it may be hard for users who are taller than 6’2” to comfortably use this treadmill at an incline. The 22” width is more standard for treadmills in this price range.
Weight Capacity - Able to hold a user who weighs up to 400 lbs, this treadmill is also suited to those who have the habit of landing heavily on their feet as they workout.
Folding - There is no folding capacity on this treadmill.
Space / Footprint - Measuring 30” wide, 74” long, and 54” tall, the T-30 is fairly compact for an expensive, durable, and non-folding treadmill.
Max Speed - The treadmill’s max speed is 12 miles per hour. It will automatically start at 0.5, allowing you to increase from there.
Incline - This treadmill has an incline range of 0% up to 15%. It would have been nice to see some decline range like other higher-end treadmills but there is none.
Workout Apps - Limited to only 7 exercise programs, you can use the manual, heart rate control, JustGo, random, interval, cardiovascular, or hill climb programs. You can scroll through these programs to choose which you would prefer to use, and the chosen program will have a light near its name when selected.
Display - There are 5 LED screens to show the workout feedback on the T-30. You can see your calories burned, distance covered, your projected calories burned per hour, elapsed time, incline you are at, and your heart rate.
Speakers - No speakers are on the T-30.
Fans - You do not have a fan on the T-30.
Heart Rate Monitoring - While Bodyguard recommends a Polar wireless chest strap with the T-30, it does not come with this treadmill. Instead, you have two curved contact handlebars for heart rate measuring purposes. These bars are not very accurate.

We were surprised by the lack of a return policy or trial period when it comes to Bodyguard products. The process recommended by their sales team is to refuse the delivery of any Bodyguard product that arrives in a heavily damaged box. If there is light damage, note it on the delivery paperwork and take photos of damage to send to Bodyguard so they can send replacement parts. If something does not work once assembled, Bodyguard will honor the warranty but will not accept any returns.
As for the build quality of the T-30, it is sturdy, as you might expect from a non-folding treadmill. The handlebar arms are awkwardly placed thanks to the curving contact heart rate handlebar arms. However, there is also the option to customize the treadmill arms so they extend and attach to the base of the T-30 frame for greater stability for the user.
