Treadmill Review

The Bowflex BXT116 treadmill faced stiff competition from the other treadmills in its price category and unfortunately, did not land a spot among the Treadmill Review top three best treadmills under $1,500.

There are many good features on the BXT116 ranging from the incline range of 0% to 15%, 3-ply treadmill belt, and a high weight capacity of 375 lbs. But these features are matched or outclassed by the NordicTrack Commercial 1750, ProForm Pro 2000, and SOLE F80. As these are all equal in price to the BXT116, you may want to consider them over purchasing the BXT116.

Price

The BXT116 is priced at $1,499.

The BXT116 Is Built For Users who:

  • Need multiple user profiles - If you are buying the BXT116 for family usage, it comes with 4 different user profiles you can easily access.
  • Like simple treadmill consoles - The console on the BXT116 is simple and easy to navigate so that you can easily hop on a start working out.
  • Want a sturdy treadmill deck - Able to hold a user weighing up to 375 lbs, the BXT116 is a sturdy treadmill and will hold up under heavy usage.

Why The BXT116 earned 3.8 out of 5 stars

While the BXT116 is a good treadmill, it fell short of a higher ranking once we compared to other treadmills in its price range.

  • Fewer programs than the Commercial 1750 - The BXT116 has only 9 workout program while the Commercial 1750 has 38 workout programs.
  • Smaller belt than the Pro 2000 - With a 20” wide and 60” long treadmill belt, the BXT116 falls short compared to the 22” wide and 60” long Pro 2000 belt.
  • Greater screen on the F80 - Both the BXT116 and F80 have backlit screens but the F80 screen is 1.5” larger than the BXT116.

As you can see, there are several ways the BXT116 falls short of its competition.

Bottom Line Review Of The Bowflex BXT116 Treadmill

The BXT116 is a good treadmill but does not quite outmatch our best treadmills under $1,500. If you are able to secure it at a lower price than $1,499, then it may be worth it to purchase the BXT116 over similarly priced treadmills.
