Treadmill Review

The best base treadmill model of the Matrix treadmill line, the Matrix T75 is a highly durable treadmill. It has a high weight capacity and comes with 3 console options. However, it suffers from features restriction and is priced higher than competitor treadmills which come with better features. Overall, while the T75 reviewed well on Treadmill Reviews, we would not recommend the T75 as it is somewhat overpriced.

Price

Depending on which console you choose to pair with the T75 treadmill base model, your price will change.

XR console - $4,199

XER console - $4,699

XIR console - $5,199

The T75 Is Built For Users who:

  • Want a highly durable treadmill - The T75 is a heavy and tough treadmill, with a dense steel frame and few thick molded plastic parts.
  • Enjoy console options - There are three different consoles available for purchase when buying a T75. They range from basic LCD to 16” touchscreen.
  • Need a high weight treadmill - This treadmill can accommodate a user who weighs up to 400 lbs.

Why The T75 earned 3.9 stars

While this is a good treadmill, it has some flaws which keep it from rating higher as we reviewed it.

  • Cannot fold - Buyers will need a dedicated place for this treadmill, as it cannot fold. It is also quite heavy, so it is not easy to move this unfolding treadmill.
  • Expensive - Going with the least expensive console option, the T75 is still very expensive at $4,199. That is a high price for a residential treadmill.
  • Limited features - With high price the T75 commands, it is surprising that it does not have better features. The motor is only a 3.0 CHP, with a limited incline range of 0% to 12%, and a restrictive number of workout programs.

These issues may not be problems for some users, so consider carefully what you want out of a treadmill before going forward with any purchase.

Main Specs - 7/10

Specs “Quick Review”:

  • Running Area: 22” W x 60” L
  • Weight Capacity: 400 lbs
  • Folding: No

Motor Size - For a higher-end treadmill, the T75 has a somewhat small 3.0 CHP motor. With the features available on the T75, this motor size is not a hindrance.

Running Area - The treadmill belt size on the T75 matches up with similarly priced treadmills, measuring 22” wide and 60” long.

Weight Capacity - A high weight capacity of 400 lbs comes with the T75. SOLE treadmills are some of the only treadmills with comparable weight capacities.

Folding  - There is no folding capacity on the T75 treadmill.

Space / Footprint -  This treadmill takes up minimal floor space, measuring 36” wide, 79” long, and 61” high. A helpful, space-saving feature since the T75 cannot fold.

Max Speed - The treadmill’s max speed is 12.5 MPH, which is 0.5 MPH more than other treadmills. Other Matrix base treadmills can also achieve this higher speed.

Incline - This treadmill has an incline range of 0% to 12%, which is somewhat restricted compared to other treadmills in this price range.

A return of the T75 will need to be authorized by Matrix and must be authorized within the first 30 days. The restocking fee associated with the return of the T75 can be up to 20% of the price of the treadmill.

Bottom Line Review Of The Matrix T75 Treadmill

While the T75 treadmill is a well-built treadmill of high-quality, it is expensive and somewhat limited in features. Even at the least expensive at $4,199, this treadmill has a small motor for this price and limited incline range.

If you are looking for a high-end treadmill with excellent features for a lower price, we would recommend you check out the best treadmills under $2,500 before committing to the T75.
